CeRIHI is an independent Non-Governmental Organization established in Tanzania to address public health priority challenges, promote quality health care delivery and strengthen health systems through policy reforms, innovation, capacity building, implementation research and knowledge translation.




The Centre for Reforms, Innovation, Health Policies and Implementation Research (CeRIHI) is an independent NGO established in 2020 and registered in Tanzania.
CeRIHI evolved from a consortium of researchers and public health specialists from research and academic institutions, government institutions and the private sector, including NGOs. The relationship began more than 20 years ago and developed strong ties through research work, training and joint publications that have influenced policy decisions in the country.
As a think tank organization, CeRIHI aims to generate knowledge, promote knowledge use in policy and practice, and support implementation of evidence-based health system interventions towards Universal Health Coverage.
CeRIHI complements national efforts by combining research, innovation, policy dialogue, capacity building and community-centred interventions.
